Today I went to the scrapbook and rubber stamp store here in town to peruse through the baby stuff they have on hand so I could work on designing our baby announcement cards. Knowing how I can sometimes be a procrastinator about things, I knew I needed to get a jump start on this particular project or it might be likely the baby is turning 12 before I announce his/her birth.
I’m going to make them reasonably generic, but make it so that girl or boy embellishments can be added once we know that important detail. I think I’m going to make the front a mock picture frame that I can slip a photo in. And I will probably use a photo taken of baby a couple of days after he/she enters the world since some of those hospital photos are so absolutely awful. Some people’s baby’s hospital photos (mine included) look like horrid DMV photos.

How are you doing? I wanted to let you know I just finished praying novenas to St. Gianna and St. Gerard. Well, guess what just came in the mail today? A friend of our’s sent us a St. Gerard prayer for motherhood card. Also a new friend from the St. Gianna shrine sent me more St. Gianna prayer cards, medals, and the program from the Feast Day Mass back on April 28th! Do you think that’s a good sign? I feel very hopeful and encouraged right now!!
This past week I’ve been thinking a lot about you and your sister in law Angela and your new babies. You are both in my thoughts and prayers every day! I’m praying for good and healthy pregnancies for you both, safe and sound deliveries, and that your babies will be healthy! I will continue to pray for you both!
I know Angela is due in June. Do you know when her due date is? Do they know if their baby is a boy or girl? If you could and don’t mind, could you please email me when you hear the news of the baby’s birth? Please let Angela know I’m thinking and praying for her too!
I also am looking forward to the birth of your baby too! I know you and Dave will be such wonderful and loving parents! I am so thrilled that God has blessed you both with a child!
By the way, when is your due date? For Angela and for you, I am going to pray a special rosary for you and your babies on your due dates!
