Dave is on vacation from work this week and we’re actually mostly staying at home. We are taking a few little day trips here and there this week, but mostly we’ll be at home doing projects. Saturday we went out to Cape Cod to deliver some maple syrup to a restaurant, then to Provincetown at the tip of the Cape. In P-town, we saw the plaque memorializing the first spot where the Pilgrims landed and then walked out onto the breakwater.
Sunday we went to Dave’s parent’s church’s picnic and hung out here at home. Lovely, quiet day.
Today we slept in, watched TV in bed then I made French Toast & sausage for breakfast. I accomplished cleaning the bathroom while Dave has been working on cleaning his area in the office. Later today we have an appointment in Springfield, MA with a guy who is supposed to be a really great Reproductive Endocrinologist. Hopefully, he’ll have some helpful thoughts about our infertility issue.
So that is the start to our little vacation this week. This evening I’m going to try out a new salmon recipe and if we like it, I’ll post the recipe here.
Hi Andrea 🙂
How did your visit with your new doctor go? I am praying it went well. I have a wonderful new doctor too. He is a Napro tech doctor. We have to travel two hours to see him (We’ve had two visits with him so far), but it is worth it!
Besides mailing you a St. Gianna prayer card, I’d like to make copies of some print outs my new doctor gave me. He recommended me to lose weight and put me on a diet based on the “Fertility Diet” where these doctors followed a group of Nurses for several years and their ability to get pregnant or not pregnant. They found that the nurses who ate a lot of vegetables, fruit, and whole fat milk had less problems with ovulation problems and were able to get pregnant. However the nurses who drank soda, low fat milk, sugary type foods, and a lot of meat had more ovulation problems and had a lot of problems being able to get pregnant.
I have managed to lose sixteen pounds so far on this diet. Would you like me to send you the print outs? I’m more than happy to share!
Let me know okay?
May God Bless you and Dave.
Maria
